Call in sick

Submit a sick day; the on-call chief will assign coverage from J1/J2/available residents.

Policy reminder: Flexible rotation days do not exempt you from reassignment. If you are on a non-inpatient rotation you are still required to be available and can be called in — jeopardy or not. Intentionally scheduling conflicts (travel, appointments, etc.) on flexible days does not release you from coverage responsibility. Contact your chief if you have questions about your availability obligations.
